The Friends of the Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts (FoSECPA), through generous funding provided by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, offers dynamic, affordable and accessible community programming for the Wood Buffalo region that is facilitated by professionals in the field of visual and performing arts.

The 2021 season is filled with exciting programs that will appeal to people of all ages! From arts classes, to theatre workshops to play productions to community bands; there is something for everyone!

2021-22 Youth Players Program

Almost, Maine Returns!

The Youth Players Program is open to youth age 12-16 and gives new and experienced theatre artists the opportunity to develop and hone their skills in a fun and safe environment.

The 2021-22 program will provide a broad foundation of the various elements of theatre arts. Students will receive education in acting, directing, design, and technical theatre. This experiential education will culminate in a final production of Almost, Maine by John Cariani.
