Eligibility                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           For insurance purposes, registrants must meet the minimum age requirements for each class. If a registrant does not meet this criteria, they will be removed from the class roster with no refund.

Refunds & Cancellations
Notice of cancellation* must be submitted in writing to: secpa@fmcsd.ab.ca.
Cancellations received 5 working days prior to the class will be eligible for a refund. A $25.00 processing fee will be charged on all refunds.
No refunds will be given for notifications received less than 5 working days prior to the commencement of classes.
*Non-attendance of any class is not considered notification of cancellation.

The expectation is for students to strictly follow safety guidelines as set out by your instructor. Failure to do so may result in removal from class and any future classes registered in. No refunds will be given for participants which have been removed from class(es) due to safety infractions.

Materials required
Students are required to come to class prepared with their own instrument.


Missed/Cancelled Lesson Policy:

  • If the instructor has to cancel a lesson, that lesson will be made up at a time that works for both student and teacher.
  • If a student misses or cancels a lesson the lesson will not be made up unless otherwise agreed upon with the instructor.
