The Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts boasts a Proscenium Black Box Theatre, with seating for 350 theatre style and 236 banquet style.
It features a floor level playing space that is sprung throughout, state of the art theatre audio and lighting equipment, a short travel theatrical fly system and a full stage with PVC cyclorama for projection and special lighting effects.

Smudging
Smudging is an Indigenous tradition which involves the burning of sage, sweetgrass and/or cedar. A smudge is burned to cleanse the body, mind, spirit of any bad feelings, negative thoughts, or negative energy – cleansing both physically and spiritually.
