The Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts (SECPA) is your venue of choice for banquets, weddings, meetings, conferences and, of course, theatre performances! Our black box theatre is ready to be transformed into the custom event of your dreams!
Choose the theatre configuration and event package that’s right for you! Our professional events team will work closely with you to design the layout, lighting configuration and theme/decor to help create a magical event for you and your guests. In our current COVID-19 reality, planning an event can be challenging! We have state-of-the-art video equipment to help you project your special day to out of town friends and family. Live streaming and video recording options are available.

Looking to host a sporting event, meeting or workshop? There are many unique and adaptable spaces to choose from in our facility! We host functions in our black box theatre, specialized studios, classrooms and gymnasiums. Gymnasium space is available at both Holy Trinity Catholic High School and Father Patrick Mercredi Community High School.
To request gymnasium, classroom, or specialized studio space at Holy Trinity Catholic High School or Father Patrick Mercredi Community High School, please email fiona.morin@fmcsd.ab.ca or call 587-960-4296 to confirm that the dates you are looking for are available.
